An Indiana man found out that advertising doesn’t always pay off – when cops busted his synthetic marijuana operation after following a drugshand-scrawled sign reading “Drugs This Way.” Jeremiah Scales was taken into custody after officers saw the sign, which pointed down an alley to his girlfriend’s house, and staged a buy-and-bust sting that netted a sizeable amount of Spice. Scales is being held on drug and drug paraphernalia charges.

An Indiana man, broke into Don and Patty Kearney’s house through their back door, and confronted the 60-something couple in their kitchen. After the intruder asked them if they had a gun Patty to ask the intruder if he had his own gun, and when he said “No,” she began smacking him with her back-scratcher – and then with a metal wrench! Patty said, “If he hadn’t have got out that back door, I’d have beat him to death.”



A Washington state woman is facing numerous charges after she took the term “drive-thru” a little too literally. Sarah Anne Godfrey, backed into the Jack in the Box drive-thru lane at a high rate of speed, flattening the free-standing menu board, knocking down a stretch of shrubbery and mangling the building’s water meter. She tried to flee the scene, but was detained by an employee, who she reportedly bit several times before cops arrived. The 21-year-old also has previous warrants for driving with a suspended license and driving while intoxicated.
