There probably isn’t an app for this. - A woman from Spartanburg, PA told deputies that the iPad she bought from two men in a McDonald’s restaurant parking lot turned out to be a block of wood painted black with an Apple logo. The 22-year-old woman told authorities the men first told her they were selling the iPads they bought in bulk for $300, but agreed to sell her one for $180 when she said that was all the money she had. The men gave her a closed FedEx box, which she discovered contained nothing more than a block of wood after returning home.

Hey, I can see all my stuff from up here! - A man from Bay, Arkansas on his first plane ride asked the pilot to fly over his home for so he could take some aerial photos. However, he got a snapshot of more than just his house as he witnessed two men burglarizing his home below. Steven Lynn watched from above as the two men took items from his house to a trailer attached to a truck. He proceeded to call a nearby relative and the authorities. Law enforcement stopped the two Jonesboro men near Bay, who were then arrested by an Arkansas State trooper and two deputies. The two now face burglary and theft charges.

Revenge is explosive. - A Washington state man angered by a bee sting dumped gasoline on a beehive in a tree in retaliation, then ignited the hive, causing an explosion heard throughout his Lynden neighborhood. Lynden chief Gary Baar said that the Sunday night fire caused a large “whoosh,” singed the tree and killed the bees, but no people were hurt. It doesn’t appear that that the man will be cited.
