A PA man’s taste for crim­i­nal behav­ior came back to bite him — Scott Shover was spot­ted rip­ping open pack­ages of raw meat, mas­ti­cat­ing mouth­fuls, and leav­ing the left­overs for the next con­sumer to come along. It’s esti­mated that he did $24 worth of dam­age to the store’s meat counter.  Because of four prior theft con­vic­tions, Shover was charged with a felony.

Gnome lib­er­a­tion at it’s finest - Police in Mon­tana said they are try­ing to find the right­ful own­ers of sev­eral gar­den gnomes dis­cov­ered in var­i­ous loca­tions at a high school.  Noal Petty, a school resource offi­cer at Cap­i­tal High School in Helena, said 22 gnomes were dis­cov­ered in var­i­ous loca­tions, includ­ing on the school’s roof eight of the stat­ues have thus far been returned to their right­ful own­ers. Petty said he is hop­ing to find the own­ers of the remain­ing 14 gnomes before the items have to be turned over to the Helena Police Depart­ment as evi­dence. Petty, said he is also look­ing for infor­ma­tion on who stole the gnomes from their homes and glued them to parts of the Cap­i­tal High building.

Whistling in the wind - The Mon­roe County Sheriff’s Office said an off-duty Florida High­way Patrol trooper who was trav­el­ing to a Sept. 11, 2001, remem­brance cer­e­mony with his wife and young child Sun­day saw a man stand up through the Mer­cedes Benz sun­roof with his pants down.  The vehi­cle was stopped by deputies a few miles away and Julio Socar­ras Mom­peller, 31, was in the pas­sen­ger seat with his shirt off and his pants loos­ened. Two other peo­ple who were in the vehi­cle told deputies Mom­peller had exposed him­self through the sun­roof but said they did not know his rea­sons.  Cause he’s STUPID???  Mom­peller was charged with inde­cent expo­sure and taken to the Mon­roe County Jail
