Hu Lin had been arguing with her neighbor, Wang Sun, for the last six years over a building permit. She was apparently so upset with him that she decided to name her dog after him – just so she could insult him. “She named her dog Wang and then whenever she saw me she would start swearing and insulting the dog using my name,” Wang said in court. The judge agreed that Hu’s actions had caused Wang “mental anguish” so he ordered her to pay the fine of $800 and apologize.

A man who may have wanted to make a point about school safety was arrested yesterday after walking into Sandy Hook Elementary School in Strasburg, Virginia, carrying a two-by-four labeled, “high-powered rifle.” The school, of course, has the same name as that of the school in Connecticut where Adam Lanza’s massacre took place last week. Christopher Gerrit Johnson, 33, was not found to have any actual weapons.

Police say a man dressed as a Super Mario Brother has been arrested for groping a woman in New York City’s Times Square. An NYPD spokesman says 34-year-old Damon Torres blocked a 58-year-old woman’s path in front of 4 Times Square and grabbed her thigh before walking away. The woman notfied police officers, who arrested him.  Tres was also charged with marijuana possession.  Seriously, Super Mario Brothers?  That is not at all sexy.  No wonder she didn’t go along with it!
