girl drving carPolice in Pittsburgh say a 7-year-old girl stole her mother’s car yesterday morning.  The girl’s mother called emergency dispatchers after her daughter disappeared along with her car.  KDKA-TV, Pittsburgh, said the girl planned to drive further to visit her father, but came to a stop about half a mile away from her home after hitting several cars.  No one was hurt during the girl’s outing.

The New Orleans Police Department said the alleged victim met with what he thought were two women in a motel room. He tried to leave the room when he realized the two women were in fact men. A third person came out of the motel bathroom and all three suspects allegedly beat the man, and ran away with his cash, credit cards and cell phone, police said. Police identified one suspect as Herbert James Bickham, who is known for wearing women’s clothing and wigs, and frequenting the hotel where the incident took place.

A California man was arrested after he allegedly shoplifted 24 quarts of motor oil, using bungee cords to secure the bottles to his legs and waist!  Jorge Sanchez, 35, allegedly dropped several bottles in the parking lot of a Costco store while scrambling over a chain-link fence! Sanchez was arrested a short distance away on a suspicion of burglary charge.
