The St. Louis Post-Dispatch has a nice entry for the dumb-criminals file: Robber holds up man at gunpoint, then tries to flee in the victim’s car—only to discover it’s a manual transmission, which he can’t drive. The robber then accepts a ride from the victim and thanks him when getting dropped off.  Police haven’t  made any arrests in the incident.

Vermont State Police say a man died after he broke into a home by smashing a glass window and was severely cut as he climbed through it.  Police responded to a report on Wednesday of a dead man on the kitchen floor of the unoccupied home in Burke. They identified the man as 73-year-old Duwayne Masure, of Sutton.

St. Augustine, Fla., police said Kimberley Kelley who does the night deposits for Dunkin donuts, returned to Regions Bank to ask if there were any objects she had accidentally dropped in with a deposit she made for her store.  Well, as a matter of fact, yes!  55 grams of marijuana was confiscated by police and Kelley was arrested on a $5000 bond.
