Authorities in Ohio are on the lookout for a ninja who robbed an Ohio hotel. The male suspect, who was dressed in a black ninja costume, jumped over the counter at the Holiday Inn Express in Milford and told the female clerk to lie face down on the ground. He then proceeded to take cash from the hotel office. After taking the money, the wayward warrior fled the scene. No one was injured during the robbery, according to officials.

A three-year-old boy in California wound up in the hospital after eating some of his grannny’s cookies … her marijuana cookies. The grandmother, who has cancer and was prescribed marijuana by her doctor, had baked a batch of the pot pastries a week earlier and had stored them in a garage fridge. The family had no idea that the boy had gotten into the cookies − but knew something was wrong when he wouldn’t get out of bed, even after sleeping 16 hours. He was taken to the hospital for observation and released later the same day. Police are awaiting toxicology results. If marijuana is found in the toddler’s system, the family could face child endangerment charges.

Police say they followed a trail of potato chips to catch a southwestern Pennsylvania burglary suspect. Washington police say 21-year-old Benjamin Sickles was arrested after he allegedly broke into a Subway restaurant and stole several bags of snacks.  Investigators say Sickles broke a glass door before trying to open the cash register. They say he made off with nine bags of chips after he couldn’t get to the cash.  Officers say they followed a trail of chip bags to Sickles, who had a bloody hand and foot when he was taken into custody.  Sickles is being held at the Washington County Prison on $30,000 bail.
