Old lady ice cubes

water leakAn elderly Chicago woman is finally free after her neighbor’s broken water pipe caused ice that sealed her back door and left her trapped in her home for weeks! The busted pipe leaked so much that it caused a layer of ice that fully encased her door in a block of ice. Thanks to a company called Roof To Deck, the ice was finally removed using pressurized steam and ice melt.

Denver cops are having a hard time picturing the motive behind a bizarre break-in where a creep forced his way into a woman’s apartment and took a selfie on her cell phone — before leaving without stealing a thing.  The victim, whose name was not released, says that she was putting her children to bed when she noticed the phone had been moved, then checked it and found a single photo of the middle-aged man!  A neighbor who got a look at the selfie said he looked familiar.

Lacinda Robinson found a kitchen window broken and several items stolen from her home.  So she asked police to meet her at a nearby McDonalds because she felt unsafe. When she pulled into the McDonalds parking lot to wait for the cops, two guys approached her car and asked if she wanted to buy a PS3. Then she sees another guy start to approach her and he’s wearing what she believed to be her jacket!  It then occurred to her the teenagers were attempting to sell her possessions back to her!  She excused herself and approached two officers at a nearby gas station and they were able to arrest four unidentified suspects for investigation of burglary.
