An elderly Indiana man noticed that his garage light was on and went out to investigate, finding an intruder rifling through his possessions. When the thug charged at him, he grabbed a shovel and smacked him around until he fled. Apparently pumped up by his win, the homeowner went to his computer to spread the news. He wrote: “This message is for the thief and his friends that has been stealing tools and miscellaneous items around our neighborhood and town. How does it feel to get whacked with a long handle shovel by an old man, not once, but twice? If you want to try again, come on back.” I posted this in the free postings, since this guy thinks everything in our community and my garage is free.”
He may be breaking the rules of fashion and good taste, but according to police in Madison, Wisconsin, a man known as the “Thong Cape Scooter Man” is not breaking any laws by riding his scooter wearing nothing but a thong and a cape. Madison police were called by staff at an elementary school when the “Thong Cape Scooter Man” was seen riding his motorized scooter past the school while students were present. Police visited the 56-year-old man’s home and he told them he “exercised poor judgment by going by the school at that time of day, it was unintentional and he just happened to be traveling through the area.” The man, whose name was not released, was not arrested or cited. He is free to ride on in his underwear and cape.
Gabriel Gonzalez and Jeremy Lovitt thought they could have it their way when they walked into a Burger King with guns drawn and demanded that a cashier clear out the registers. As she was complying, one of her colleagues slipped out the back, where he found the get away car running. So he jumped in and took off, hiding it around the corner. The diversion caused enough of a delay that cops were able to bust the two crooks, who panicked and tried to flee on foot.
