Authorities in Australia said they arrested a naked man who caused traffic delays by running across a bridge and setting off fire hydrants.  A Sydney police spokeswoman said the naked man ran across the Sydney Harbor Bridge around 6 p.m. Tuesday night and turned on “a number of fire hydrants” along the way. After a foot chase across the bridge he was apprehended,” the spokeswoman said. The man was taken to a local hospital for assessment.

Less than a month after the shooting at a theater in Aurora, CO another incident happened in Sparks, NV. But thankfully no one was injured except this guy. Apparently, while watching the movie “The Bourne Legacy” he was adjusting himself in his seat and a gun fell onto the floor.  And it discharged.  Right into his butt cheeks!   Police say the 56-year-old man’s injuries are not life-threatening and no others were hurt. Authorities say the man did have a permit to carry a concealed firearm. Authorities say the case will be sent to the city attorney for possible charges.

Authorities say that 27-year-old David Allan Thompson stopped at a police station Saturday night to offer police some unspecified information. Thompson apparently stole some marijuana while the officer was logging the drugs into evidence after police had seized them that night. When police realized their seized stashed had downsized they confronted Thompson outside the station. They say he handed over the drugs and confessed, saying, “I just couldn’t help myself. That bud smelled so good.” Thompson faces a preliminary hearing Aug. 23
