Author­i­ties in Aus­tralia said they arrested a naked man who caused traf­fic delays by run­ning across a bridge and set­ting off fire hydrants.  A Syd­ney police spokes­woman said the naked man ran across the Syd­ney Har­bor Bridge around 6 p.m. Tues­day night and turned on “a num­ber of fire hydrants” along the way. After a foot chase across the bridge he was appre­hended,” the spokes­woman said. The man was taken to a local hos­pi­tal for assessment.

Less than a month after the shoot­ing at a the­ater in Aurora, CO another inci­dent hap­pened in Sparks, NV. But thank­fully no one was injured except this guy. Appar­ently, while watch­ing the movie “The Bourne Legacy” he was adjust­ing him­self in his seat and a gun fell onto the floor.  And it dis­charged.  Right into his butt cheeks!   Police say the 56-year-old man’s injuries are not life-threatening and no oth­ers were hurt. Author­i­ties say the man did have a per­mit to carry a con­cealed firearm. Author­i­ties say the case will be sent to the city attor­ney for pos­si­ble charges.

Author­i­ties say that 27-year-old David Allan Thomp­son stopped at a police sta­tion Sat­ur­day night to offer police some unspec­i­fied infor­ma­tion. Thomp­son appar­ently stole some mar­i­juana while the offi­cer was log­ging the drugs into evi­dence after police had seized them that night. When police real­ized their seized stashed had down­sized they con­fronted Thomp­son out­side the sta­tion. They say he handed over the drugs and con­fessed, say­ing, “I just couldn’t help myself. That bud smelled so good.” Thomp­son faces a pre­lim­i­nary hear­ing Aug. 23
