Dumbass, party of 1 –Upper Darby police Superintendent Michael J. Chitwood said officers and their families had gathered for a Christmas party Sunday and were waiting to be seated at Ruth’s Chris Steak House in Philadelphia when Sgt. Jim Reif spotted a woman allegedly reaching into a purse that was attached to someone else’s arm. Chitwood said Gwendolyn Jordan, 46, seemed “shocked” to find herself quickly surrounded by eight officers. Jordan, has had 59 previous arrests.  “She went to the wrong Christmas party,” Chitwood said.  This is like that guy who shoplifted when it was Shop with a Cop Day

Damn good shot - If you think you’re having a bad day listen to this story…A man cleaning his muzzle-loading rifle shot the gun into the air and accidentally killing a 15-year-old Amish girl driving a horse-drawn buggy more than a mile away. Yep, Rachel Yoder had attended a Christmas party for employees at an Amish produce farm and was riding home alone.  The horse continued to walk home when she fell out of the buggy near her home!  Her brother found her after he saw the horse walking in circles and went to check it. Authorities initially believed she had fallen out of the buggy and hit her head until a hospital test revealed the gunshot wound.  The gun-cleaner’s family came forward and his neighbors reported hearing a shot at about the time the girl was wounded.  The man had fired the gun in the air about 1.5 miles State investigators said. “In all probability, it looks like an accidental shooting,” Zimmerly said.  No charges have been filed.

Everything must go…with us - Two department store employees in Florida Vasthi Marseille and Marline Santelus were arrested on charges of grand theft after using price guns to mark down thousands of dollars in merchandise at the store to 5 bucks, then buying it themselves. One of the women said she’d seen another sales person doing something similar in the past and figured, “Why not?”  Because it’s illegal???
