Police in Lawrence, Kansas said Megan Wilson, was arrested after investigators determined she intentionally drove her vehicle through a home after arguing with someone inside. Police said about $100,000 worth of damage was caused to the home, but no injuries were reported. Wilson fled the scene, but was found about a block from the crash and taken to Lawrence Memorial Hospital for treatment. Wilson was charged with criminal damage, which carries a potential penalty of up to 3 years in prison.
A young Scottish woman Serena Curtis says she was having a few glasses of wine at home with a friend when she got the idea to climb into her son’s high chair, where she got stuck. She didn’t panic at first, even taking time out for a smoke, but when it became obvious she needed help getting out so she called firefighters. She told her rescuers it was an accident.
The Clarksville Police Department said a woman called authorities around 11 p.m. Saturday and reported an apparently intoxicated man was stumbling down the roadway in front of her home in Gannett Tennessee. Officers arrived to find James David Cunningham, 22, stumbling around the woman’s yard and repeatedly shouting the word “zombies.” Police said Cunningham admitted to consuming alcohol. They said he also had slurred speech and bloodshot eyes and a hankerin’ for brains.
