A French outdoorsman found out just how good his hunting dog was after the pooch shot him while they were out trying to bag a deer. The gentleman, identified only as Rene, had to have his right hand amputated when the dog, excited at the prospect of getting up close and personal with Bambi, lunged at his shotgun and discharged it, pretty much obliterating the appendage. Rene, who had to be rushed to the hospital, was left in pain, but didn’t point fingers at the pup. He told a reporter, “It wasn’t the dog’s fault. He’s adorable. I should have left the safety on.”

32-year-old Bobby Clifford Smith III of PA is facing theft charges for allegedly trying to exchange a toilet at Lowe’s home improvement store. Smith was caught on store surveillance video entering the store, grabbing a toilet from a shelf, and then taking that very same toilet to the return line to exchange it for more than $600 in gift cards.  His plan was flushed when police were called and he was taken to jail – where he is being held on bail.

A Minneapolis woman is facing a marijuana charge after a city police investigator says he got a random text message saying “Got your greens, let me know what you need.” A criminal complaint filed in Hennepin County District Court stated the investigator messaged back that he wanted to buy $100 worth and set up a meeting.  He and Najileh Cekoc Sengbloh, 24 met and she was arrested.  Sengbloh allegedly told police she had placed an ad on Craigslist looking to sell some marijuana and had tried to contact one of the numbers she had received in reply, apparently getting the investigator’s number instead.
